Tony Everett - MPC, BA - President & CEO, was appointed President & CEO in October 2016. He has been with Neighbor To Family since 2003 and was formerly NTF's Vice President of Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina and South Carolina programs. Everett holds a Masters in Professional Counseling from Argosy University and a Bachelors in Psychology from Georgia State University.
James L. Akins, III - MSW - Chief of Staff, joined Neighbor To Family in 2005 as a Case Manager for the sibling foster care model program in Daytona, moving up the ranks to Executive Director and Vice President of Florida Programs prior to his current position. Akins earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Central Florida.
Jamila T. Hankins PhD., LMSW - VP- GA & MD Programs, has been with Neighbor To Family since 2004. She served as Director of Operations in the Atlanta office from 2008 until her appointment as Vice President in 2016. Hankins holds a Ph.D. in Social Work Policy, Planning, and Administration from Clark University.
Chris Gurley - AAS - VP of Information Systems, came to Neighbor To Family in 2014. He previously served the organization in LAN support and Director of MIS and has 20 years of experience in network administration. Chris earned his Associate in Information Systems degree from Western Piedmont Community College in Morganton, N.C.
Amy Drolet, MHRM – Vice President of Human Resources, joined Neighbor To Family in 2021. Amy holds a Masters in Human Resource Management from Walden University. She has received the following SHRM certifications: SCP, PHR and GPHR. Prior work experience includes HR leadership positions in the fields of higher education, law enforcement and manufacturing.
Darren LaLuzerne, MBA- Chief Financial Officer, joined Neighbor To Family in 2022. As a CPA who also holds an MBA, Mr. LaLuzerne’s twenty years of non-profit experience includes technology to streamline and automate processes and procedures to increase efficiency, reduce costs and enhance overall workflow. He offers operational expertise in key areas such as human resources, risk management, quality assurance, strategic planning, marketing, and public relations.
Kelly Morgan - AA - Assistant To The President, began her career at Neighbor To Family in 1999 and was promoted to her current position in 2004. She holds an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts and Humanities from Lackawanna College.
Tiffany Da Silva, MHS- Vice President of Florida Programs, joined Neighbor To Family in 2023. Tiffany’s expertise includes oversight and leadership for parenting, prevention, family support, adoption services, and licensing. She is experienced in strategic planning, performance measurements, quality initiatives, COA accreditation, and community outreach.
