  Sheilah Davenport - Board Chair,   is the CEO of Health Care Systems and Solutions Consulting.  She has worked with the Office of the Inspector General for the Maryland Department of Health and is currently employed with the Maryland Board of Nursing. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, and holds a Masters degree from the University of Maryland School of Nursing.

  Ackneil M. Muldrow, II - Finance Chair,  is a partner in Parker Muldrow & Associates in Baltimore, Maryland. His background is in banking and community development.

  Benjamin D. Sharkey - Secretary,  is a Principal and Office Litigation Manager for the Jacksonville, Florida office of the law firm Jackson Lewis.

  Dr. Rodney Hammond - Executive Vice Chair  is a retired senior executive from the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, He directed CDC prevention research and programs in child maltreatment, youth violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and suicide. He lives in Berkeley Lake, Georgia where he also serves as a member of City Council for the City of Berkeley Lake. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, IL and his Ph.D. in psychology at Florida State University in Tallahassee. He completed post-doctoral study at Harvard University .

  Father George Clements  is a retired Catholic priest residing in Evergreen Park, Illinois. Father Clements co-founded the national organization One Church One Child and founded One Church-One Addict and One Church-One Inmate.

  Jennifer Dangar  is the Chief of Corporate Operations for Jackson Healthcare in Georgia.  She formerly served as Chief Strategy Officer & President of Distribution for the Weather Company. She is a graduate of Tulane University.

  Senator Anthony C. "Tony" Hill Sr.  currently serves as Federal Policy Director for Mayor Alvin Brown, Mayor of Jacksonville, FL. Senator Hill was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 1992 and served three consecutive terms. In 2002 he was elected to the Florida Senate and served until 2011. He is a Life Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., (Theta Phi Chapter) and Chair of the NAACP Florida State Conference Labor Round Table. Senator Hill currently holds two Honorary Doctorate of Law degrees, the first from Edward Waters College in 1995 and most recently from Bethune-Cookman University.

  James G. Patterson  currently serves as a North Carolina Utilities Commissioner. He was appointed to the Commission in 2013 by Governor Pat McCrory to a term that ends in 2019. Previously, Patterson was founder and CEO of Patterson Partners Inc. a Greensboro NC Public Relations and Marketing firm. Before that he was President of B & C Associates in High Point NC and earlier in his career served as Vice President for Development at two colleges.

Everett holds a Masters in Professional Counseling from Argosy University and a Bachelors in Psychology from Georgia State University.

  Dr. Mekeshia Bates , a doctorally-prepared adult psychiatric nurse practitioner licensed in Maryland and Washington, DC.  Dr. Bates is a cum laude graduate of Wake Forest University (Winston-Salem, NC). She completed her graduate studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH earning a Masters of Science in Nursing (focus on Adult Psychiatric/ Mental Health), a Masters in Public Health (focus on Health Policy and Administration), and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. She is also the first nurse to complete the Cleveland (OH) Veterans Affairs National Quality Scholars Fellowship. Dr. Bates is a published author and has conducted numerous presentations on her research on genetic testing, African American males, quality improvement, and mental health.
